The Cage of St Osyth

The Cage Historic Town Lockup

You can now stay overnight in the The Cage - the former site of the village lockup in St Osyth. Not only is The Cage now decorated and filled with timeless, period furniture each with their own stories, but it also houses a collection of artifacts telling the history of the use of Cages and Lockups in England, the history of St Osyth and its witch trials, and the folklore, legends and ghost stories of The Cage.
